Muir Elementary

This school year, your child will have the opportunity to learn to play the recorder during their/his/her weekly music classes.  This is an exciting chance for students to reinforce the skills they have been learning in elementary music.

 If your child does not own a high-quality recorder, one can be ordered for $7 using the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, which includes a brand-new carrying case. 

 If your child already owns a Peripole, Yamaha, or Nuvo recorder from previous years, they/he/she/ does not have to buy another one and can bring it to school during the recorder unit. We do ask that you please select “Recorder Not Needed” in the drop-down list under options.

 To view the recorder ordering portal in Parent Portal:

1. Login to Parent Portal

2. Select School Store in the left panel

3. Click on Shop in the school’s store card

4. Proceed with recorder ordering

 The ordering window for recorders will close at 11:59pm on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
